What to Expect at Bozeman’s Tuesday Comedy Open Mic
Looking for something fun, free and a little bit unpredictable to do on a Tuesday night in Bozeman? Every Tuesday at 8pm, the Bone Dry Comedy Hour takes over Last Best Comedy Club in downtown Bozeman for the town’s weekly stand-up comedy open mic. Here’s everything you need to know before you come along.
What Is a Comedy Open Mic?
An open mic is a night where local comedians take the stage to try out new jokes. At the Bone Dry Comedy Hour, around 20 comics each do a short set of 3 to 5 minutes, so the pace is quick and there’s always someone new up next. You’ll see seasoned regulars testing fresh material, brave first-timers doing their very first set, and everything in between. Every week is different, which is half the fun.

Every Tuesday at 8pm at Last Best Comedy Club, 321 E Main St, downtown Bozeman, MT. Look for the stairs in the alleyway.
How Much Does It Cost?
It’s a FREE SHOW – donations welcome. No tickets needed, just turn up. If you enjoy the night, donations are always appreciated and help keep the open mic going.
Who Comes to the Open Mic?
We love our open mic audience so much, and we love the mix of people this weekly night brings in: regulars, locals, students, folks who are new to town, date nights and groups of friends. Come with a group or come on your own. If you’re new to Bozeman, looking for free things to do or just want a fun way to meet people, the open mic is a great place to start. It’s a great night of laughs, a great place to meet new people and a warm, welcoming community to laugh along with.
Drinks and Snacks
There’s a full bar of beer, wine and cocktails, plus lots of NA options too. There’s even hot tea for those cold Montana nights, or for anyone with an early Wednesday start who wants loads of laughs and to still feel great the next day! Plus, enjoy lots of bar snacks, including bottomless popcorn.
Tips for a Great Night
Get there a little early to grab a drink and a good seat. Laugh loud and cheer for the first-timers, because a great crowd makes a great show. Put your phone on silent so everyone can enjoy the sets. And bring your friends: the laughs are always better with a full room.
